Witches of Lost Hill Lake - The 2022 Coven Experience

In October 2022, 50 women descended upon the Lost Hill Lake property to experience a day of magic, fun, empowerment, and connection! The Coven Experience is an enchanting adventure where women gather to explore the land, make new friends, and play dress-up.
The attendees brought their creativity and a variety of outfits, and Lost Hill Lake provided professional hair and makeup services by some of the region's finest stylists and artists. The stage was set using the many unique features of our venue, special props provided by Glow Photography included vintage chairs, black and white wings, oh and did we mention the coffin!? Our selected professional photographers captured shots throughout the day.
But this experience was more than just a day of dress-up. We featured a fireside Ecstatic Dance led by Sarah Clover. Ecstatic dance is a series of freeform movements, held in a safe space. It’s a place where we dance and move as we like, shaking off the stresses of normal life and celebrating simply being alive. Dancing around the bonfire to the thumping beats participants were able to be their unique selves, and also recognize that we are connected to a common source.
Along with doing something for ourselves, it is important to do something for others. So a portion of each ticket went to the Women’s Safehouse of St Louis. This amazing experience presented by women, for women, and supporting women in many different ways was able to raise $2000 for the Women’s Safe House. We are proud of the community we are building and hope to continue to do this good work for many years in the future.
