Capturing the Magic | Taylor and Valerie's Nature Wedding

This stunning pair, Taylor and Valerie, created a magical wedding experience at Lost Hill Lake!

Taylor and Valerie had a beautiful early October wedding. After making a few pre-ceremony stops for some photos - including the Good Vibes VW Bus, the lake, and the dock - the happy couple made their way to the Walnut Grove.

The pair escorted each other down the aisle, and exchanged vows under the hexagon arbor. After their celebratory walk back down the aisle it was time for more photo ops!

Made to be Mine Photography captured some breathtaking images of the newlyweds on Thinking Rock, looking out over the Meramec River, dancing in the rolling fields, and snuggled up in the Chapel.

Then is was time to eat, drink and dance with family and friends in the Large Pavilion.

In their package, Taylor and Valerie opted for the Lost Hill Lake DJ service and added the items from our Décor Collection to tie in with their theme of “Till Death do They Part.” They even had their guest dress in black, which made for a very classy affair! Their big day was so much fun to plan, let’s hear from the brides:

When searching for venues for a fall wedding, we knew that we wanted an all-in-one place so that our family and friends would not have to drive from one location to another.

After getting a tour of the property, we both instantly knew that Lost Hill was the perfect location for our wedding day! It felt like we were thousands of miles from home, yet it was just a quick drive through town.

Throughout the process, we worked with Brittanie, to plan what was, in our opinion, the most magical wedding day.

Our family and friends still rave about the fairytale location and how they can’t believe it was so close! We couldn’t have been more happy with our special day, and we owe a lot of that to the staff at Lost Hill Lake.

We would do it again every weekend if we could!
