We invite you to get out of the city and join us at Lost Hill Lake! Only 45-minutes west of St Louis, the rolling hills will bring you to a shaded 50 year-old walnut grove overlooking the scenic Meramec river in St. Clair, Missouri. The beautiful venue offers private access to lake swimming and fishing along with breathtaking nature views.
During the weekend, families will have the opportunity to spend quality time together in the great outdoors. Friday set up camp and take in your surroundings. As night rolls in we will relax around the campfire and enjoy S’mores as we share songs and stories. Saturday, will be filled with activities to nourish your mind, body, and spirit. Start the morning off with beginners yoga and a walk around the lake. Along the way you will meet the rescue animals that call Lost Hill Lake home. We will stop in the garden for a taste testing tour followed by Q&A with the Williford family.
Experience educational workshops. Non for profit, Erase the Trace will be hosting workshops teaching us about recycling. Ohana Fire Tribe will be holding workshops on flow props enhancing hand eye coordination. On Saturday night Kids will have an opportunity to showcase the skills they’ve learned with Ohana Fire Tribe. After a kid’s dance party will be hosted by Lost Hill Lake’s own DJ ROB.
Sunday will bring more fun to this incredible weekend. Start the day of with morning community breakfast at the Large Pavilion. Bring your favorite breakfast treats and enjoy the company of family and friends. After Breakfast the weekend will culminate in a final celebration… A BEACH PARTY!!! Grab your towel and sunscreen and join us at the lake for fun and farewells.
What should I bring to this event?

Will there be showers at the event?
Yes! Shower passes are $10 per family. We do have a shower house. Please be respectful of others and the environment by taking quick showers, and using Dr. Bronner soap.
Are the restrooms porta potties?
NO! We have a gorgeous restroom lodge onsite with real flushing toilets and air conditioning 🙂 Porta potties will be available in the camping grounds closer to your tent
Will there be food vendors on site?
YES, food vendors will be on site. You are welcomed to bring food from home. Coolers are allowed. Alcohol is not permitted.
Will alcohol be served?
No, this is an alcohol free event.
Will there be a place to refill my water bottle.
Yes, ice and a water station for filling reusable bottles will be provided throughout Family Camp.
What time can I arrive on Friday August 17th 2018?
Our gates open at 3pm.
What time does the event end on Sunday August 19th 2018?
Activities will end by 2pm and our gates close at 4pm.
Can I camp by my car?
Yes, you can camp right next to your car or you can park your car in our parking lot and camp in a shady wooded area inside the venue. (no electric for wooded camping)
What if I have never set up a tent before?
No worries! We have people on site that can help you!
Is the whole weekend outside?
Yes, LHLE is an entirely outdoor venue.
Is this event pet friendly?
- Yes, but we enforce a very strict leash law. Also paperwork of proof of up to date rabies shot will be required upon entrance.
- If we see you have left your dog in your car for any amount of time, YOU and your dog will be required to leave.
- If your dog is not people, kid, or dog friendly this is not the event for your dog.
- If dogs are seen being aggressive your dog will be required to leave.
- If we see you not picking up after your dog, your dog will be required to leave.

No. Enjoy nature with us.
When will the lake area be open?
The lake area will be open from Sun up- Sun down- Please be respectful of the family’s property and home. Sun sets 7:55pm. No lifeguard on duty- swimming is at your own risk.
